We have just launched a new site for our client Darling Estate Wines. The Koombahla property sits on the hillside at Whitfield in the upper King Valley in North East Victoria. The Darling family has owned property in the valley for nearly 100 years, producing wines that are made to age slowly and gracefully. We were approached to create a online presence for Darling Estate that reflected their vineyard and brand.

We created a uniquely branded online presence for Darling Estate, clear communicating’s Darling’s history in the King Valley and their reputation for producing elegant and flavoursome wines. The site allows for the easy management content, inventory and online sales for Darling Estate and provides customers an easy purchasing process.

Like all projects from Ennis Perry Design the site has been hand crafted & coded delivering a unique online experience for customers and building a business solution for Darling Estate. The creative team at Ennis Perry Design worked on all aspects of the site from site-map & wire-framing, design & illustration, photography to the build of custom management systems and website.

The team has spent a great deal of time in the King Valley over the past 6 month’s working with Darling Estate and looks forward to building further relationships with business in North East Victoria.

Beginning in 2012, it will be celebrated as World Communication Design Day. It is an opportunity to recognise communication design, and its role in the world, and to celebrate the birthday of Icograda.

Japanese architect Jo Nagasaka from Schemata Architecture Office has designed yet another outstanding Aesop store in Ginza, Tokyo, continuing their concept for unique and unusual use of materials in retail design.

The skincare brand have taken their hand to a 35 year old shoe shop, beginning with a red brick interior to reference the brick-tiled facade originally created by ‘Milano Shoes’ that was previously painted over by the upstairs tenant.

In honour of the buildings origins, red brick courses infill the spaces between wooden shelves where products re displayed, while brick stacks with wooden counter tops house gleaming copper sinks.

Nagasaka’s other Aesop Tokyo store was made from the recycled materials of a demolished house and a new concept Aesop kiosk in New York uses 1000 newspapers stacked as shelving.

A continued sophisticated design aesthetic that talks to everyone.
